In the rapidly evolving health care and health insurance marketplace, high-deductible plans have become commonplace: leaving individuals with the responsibility of paying for more health care expenses than ever before. Many members began requesting Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and credit unions wanted to learn more about offering them, as well as about how to educate their members.Solution:
An HSA initiative resulted in two educational presentations to MDC owners by a leading consultant in the HSA space. The consultant also created white papers offering implementable sales culture approaches and best practices, a financial model, and a detailed implementation plan for HSAs.Result:
